To celebrate our incredible team, their families and the upcoming opening of The Garden of Tomorrow — Norfolk Botanical Garden will close early on Monday, June 15, 2026 at 2 PM for a special team preview event.
This milestone reflects years of dedication, creativity, and care from the people working every day behind the scenes to help bring this vision to life. As our team continues putting the finishing touches on this transformational new chapter, we wanted to take a moment to recognize and thank them for all they’ve done.
We look forward to welcoming everyone to the Garden of Tomorrow this September.
Garden of Tomorrow Staff Celebration
You are invited to celebrate the opening of Garden of Tomorrow. Staff are welcome to invite a plus 1 or immediate family members. Reservations are required.
Please reserve one of the following times for you and your guests:
- 4PM - 5PM
- 5PM - 6PM
- 6PM - 7PM
Event Recap:
- Board Members will be joining to personally thank staff.
- East Beach Catering will provide a variety of food options and mocktails behind the bar.
- Tea and water will be available as well
- Barry Art Museum will be in the Brock Entry Pavillion to chat about our collection on loan.
- Our NBG Executive Leadership Team will be onsite to answer questions
- Chef Steve and Chef de Cuisine, Mary will be in the Bistro to answer any questions
