Daytime Admission Online Tickets

Please select your date and arrival time to Norfolk Botanical Garden. Tickets are only valid for the specific date and arrival time noted on the ticket. Tickets can be scanned directly from your smartphone or from a paper copy printed at home.

These tickets cover Daytime Admission to Norfolk Botanical Garden. We are open from 9AM-5PM daily. During your visit, please explore our NEW! Perry Conservatory and stop by The Reeds Bistro for a tasty treat!

Please note that:

  • Beginning Wednesday, November 4th, we will be closing certain areas of the Garden at 4:00PM in preparation for our Dominion Energy Garden of Lights in the evening. The rest of the Garden will remain open until 5:00PM as usual.
  • NBG is open from 9AM-5PM during our Fall/Winter season, October 1-March 31
  • The Perry Conservatory is open 10AM-5PM daily. The Perry Conservatory is closed every Tuesday for plant care.
  • During our Fall/Winter season, dogs are allowed on Sundays and Wednesdays.
  • Bike Nights, Tram Tours, Boat Tours, and the Splash Pads/Fountains are finished for the season and will return in the spring.
  • Dogs are not allowed in the Perry Conservatory. ADA Service animals are welcome.
  • The Perry Conservatory and The Reeds Bistro are closed on Tuesdays.

Mobility Shuttle 2026

The Mobility Shuttle runs once every evening for guests with limited mobility and their group to enjoy a scenic ride through our Dominion Energy Garden of Lights. Arrival time to Norfolk Botanical Garden for our Mobility Shuttle is 4:45PM, with boarding at 5:00PM and a prompt 5:15PM departure.

  • If you and your guests are not seated on the shuttle by the 5:15 departure time, we are unable to wait for your party. The shuttle departs promptly at 5:15PM. There are no refunds.
  • The Mobility Shuttle takes about 25 minutes to drive through our Dominion Garden of Lights.
  • Bathrooms and water fountains are located inside Baker Hall, beside the Gift Shop, and available for use before exiting the back of Baker Hall to board the Mobility Shuttle.
  • Food and beverage will be available for purchase near where we board guests for our Mobility Shuttle. Menus will be posted online soon.
  • The Mobility Shuttle is covered, but open to the elements. Please dress for the weather; we operate the Mobility Shuttle in rain or shine.
  • Any guests age 3 and up must purchase a ticket. Infants/Toddlers (0-2) do not need a ticket, but must sit on their adult's lap and cannot occupy a seat. 
  • Seating on our Mobility Shuttle is thoughtfully assigned. If you are booking tickets separately and wish to be seated near or next to another guest or group, please let us know as soon as possible; otherwise, they might not be seated next to you. Seating arrangements also depend on group size and the needs of any guests using wheelchairs on board. Please email our Visitor Services Team at VS_Supervisors@nbgs.org to request seats near another guest or group.
  • After the Mobility Shuttle drives through the lights, it drops all guests off in front of Baker Hall. Guests can browse the NBG Gift Shop, purchase a membership, or use the restroom before heading back to their car. The NBG Gift Shop closes at 8:15PM on Value Nights and 9:15PM on Popular Nights.
  • These tickets are for the Mobility Shuttle only and do not include walk-through access or re-entry to the Dominion Energy Garden of Lights. If you would like to walk through our Dominion Energy Garden of Lights after riding our Mobility Shuttle, please purchase additional tickets here.
  • Please visit our website for Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ), including our rescheduling policy. Email VS_Supervisors@nbgs.org or call 757-441-5830 at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule your tickets. We can reschedule your tickets to any other available evening.

Youth_$18/Scout & $20/Free Adult

TICKETS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL SCOUT AND ADULT CHAPERONE ATTENDANTS. PLEASE NO SIBLING TAG-ALONGS.

Garden Member Discounts: NBG Members are required to register all Scout and adult chaperones attending the event. There is no discount for Scout tickets. NBG Member Adults are asked to register their free chaperone tickets for head count purposes.

Not-Yet-Members are required to purchase tickets for all attending Scouts and adult chaperones. Scout Leaders who are not members of the Garden are required to purchase adult tickets. 

If sibling attend, they are required to have a registered Girl Scout ticket. They will be permitted to participate in the activities with a registered ticket but will not receive the program badge/patch.

All programs require adults to attend the programs and assist Scouts with the activities. Drop-offs are not permitted.
